Comics May Be the Future of Web3 Publishing

While it goes beyond the scope of this issue of Vagobond Magazine, publishing comics to Web3 is a big part of the story telling that takes place in the metaverse. From classic titles on Veve Impact Theory’s comic ventures to the revolutionary Punks Comic #1 to the grand story telling of Ben Mauro’s Huxley – comics are thriving in Web3. While we haven’t seen a Yuga Labs Bored Ape Yacht Club Comic yet, we have toe dip from Valiant Comics, an IRL publisher and comics from NFT projects like Gutter Cat Gang, Bloot, and Mighty ManaTeez.  There are hundreds of comics available on NFT platforms – and there will be many more. Comics might be the future of Web3 publishing.
